There have been a number of high profile cases in the national press of ‘misrepresentation’ on CVs. At Grieves Pryce we have always verified the details of short listed candidates.

We have recently been asked by a number of clients to carry out checks on individuals to whom they have offered employment and where the potential employee was not found as a result of the work we have carried out.

We now offer this as a stand alone service which provides valuable confirmation for the employer that the individual they are about to employ is a person of integrity. It includes the following elements:


Accuracy of dates on CV confirmed

Confirmation from previous employers of job title, role profile and remuneration
Verification of academic qualifications
Financial checks including credit rating, county court judgements etc.
References from previous managers, peers and where appropriate, subordinates.

In line with the laws of Data Protection, we obtain written permission from the individual before commencing the work and supply them with a copy of the results if requested.
